Doc Martin will be be returning to Port Isaac in 2013. ITV have commissioned the further series of Doc Martin, this will be filmed in Port Isaac from late March until late July 2013!

The Doc Martin series has fans across the world watching the trials and tribulations of Doc Martin set in and around picturesque Port Isaac, known as Portwenn in the series. Doctor Martin Ellingham is a the cantankerous GP of Portwenn played by Martin Clunes.

The series is set in the fictional village of Portwenn, and is all filmed in and around Port Isaac. When filming starts, Martin Clunes and fellow stars of the show will be easily seen filming in the streets of Port Isaac.

In 2011 the film crew and cast of Doc Martin made The Edge Restaurant their local base and have covered the bar front in signatures.
